Gold Daisy Diamond Necklace

This collection is inspired by blooms. I cannot imagine a world without flowers. I have often thought that flowers should be the sixth love language. Blooms have the ability to soften hard edges in hearts and creep into tender spaces. In nature they serve a significant purpose in ensuring and maintaining the continuity of plants through fruit and seeds. Beautiful bright flags, sometimes very small flags, ushering in growth and a new season.   In Namibia, they appear as a colourful flush in the veld after good summer rains, as lilies in desolate dry pans that fill up with water collected over vast distances, or they surprise us early in spring as dormant thorn trees burst into bloom. To me, flowers represent strength and perseverance, enduring and ultimately flourishing even when conditions have been unfavorable right up until that point. Flourishing against all odds.
